To qualify as a “competitor”, the company must be an accredited member of the BBB (Better Business Bureau) with an A+ rating and no complaints, a member of CAM (Canadian Association of Movers), and must state on their website that their rates include at least $50,000 of full-replacement value insurance (not protection or valuation coverage) with no deductible. To qualify as a “similar level of service”, the company must be providing the same size crew (number of movers), same size truck, and include basics such as mattress bags and wardrobe boxes at no extra charge. Our minimum rate threshold is the lowest that we will reduce our rates to. The minimum rate threshold is based on $50 per hour for each truck plus $50 per hour for each mover. Therefore the minimum we would reduce our rate to for 2 movers and a truck would be $150 per hour and the minimum we would reduce our rate to for 3 movers and a truck would be $200 per hour.
