We are currently seeking full-time truck drivers and movers to represent us in the residential moving industry.
Drivers will be required to manage jobs and crews as well as participate in the labor aspects of relocations along with the rest of the crew. Job requirements can include heavy lifting, lots of walking, climbing stairs, and other challenges of endurance and strength. You should not apply of you have a history of back, neck, knee, shoulder, or elbow injuries or problems. These conditions can lead to dangerous situations resulting in injury to you and/or others. These jobs may require spending extended periods of time on your feet and are not recommended for people suffering from joint inflammation or blood pressure issues.
The nature of the industry prevents us from scheduling specific hours required to be worked. Although we try to schedule 8am to 5pm working days for the most part, work schedules can include long and/or irregular hours. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays except for the last Monday of each month.
Successful candidates will be required to provide and wear steel-toe work boots/shoes and navy blue work pants/shorts. Company uniform will be provided including shirts, jackets and hats (optional). For safety and damage prevention reasons, employees are not allowed to wear any jewellery (except wedding/engagement rings) while working on jobsites.
We offer competitive wages and employees are properly payrolled (ie. deductions, WSIB, overtime, holiday pay, etc..). Employees are paid bi-weekly via direct deposit. We do NOT pay cash.
